Launch Time - 18:37
Incident - Fishing Vessel with machinery failure.
Outcome - The lifeboat was launched following a mayday call to Humber Coastguard from the fishing vessel “BOY ANDREW” reporting machinery failure approx 600 yards north of St Marys Lighthouse, upon arrival on the scene the lifeboat discovered the vessel and her 2 crew were drifting with the offshore wind. The lifeboat took the vessel under tow and returned “BOY ANDREW” to her berth in Blyth’s South Harbour.
